Some time off!
I am guilty of not having updated my blog, since long time...reason being first vivas and now Examzz...

Things are moving at a rapid pace these days!
Examzz starting from 23rd, and will go on till 16th June!!!
Yea welcome to engineering world, where the university (read Mumbai) believes in making solid hard-working engineers by making us toil for almost a month!
Other than that, life is throwing few candies at me...and i prefer to catch them!
By that i mean, there have been few turns in a gr8 movie called 'My life' and i am loving it!!!
those 'turns' can certainly not be mentioned here...atleast not for the moment!!!

I would need a month off now from active blogging, but i would continue to do blog-hopping and commenting...;-)
Will miss posting..:-(

P.S. : Hope you liked the new template!

Adios!

vivASS!

'Thank You Sir' these exact words marked the culmination of my dreaded vivas!!!
Its no secret that A to Zee knowledge about a particular topic is tested in vivas or oral exams...
So here i was sitting in air-conditioned lab, that is the place designated, where we enter with hopes in our eyes and exit with mist!!!!

A class-mate of mine had once written on the blackboard after he was done with his viva..
"Yours truly RAPED for 25 mins, five qns asked five answers given..No No No No No..!!!"
So before entering the lab his statement flashed across my mind. It’s not that all vivas are dreaded, in fact many go just the way you want.

This viva was anyway not really different, first few qns dodged then came few bouncers then a Yorker and then the killer delivery. Entered the lab at 3:40 pm exited at 4:20 pm.
But what caught my attention was the weird external examiner. I had heard great stories about this guy from the previous batch, on how he would first start with something remotely related to the syllabi and he would later deliver a sucker punch by giving a sarcastic comment!

My experience was slightly different. He first asked the internal examiner to ask us questions, which we gladly replied. Meanwhile I observed that this guy was writing down something on a piece of paper. Later it came to my notice that he had written plenty of similar looking things, which turned out to be nothing but his own signature. Line after line he was busy doing his own signature, not to mention least bothered about our answers. He then suddenly got up off his seat and moved away to make a call, which I guessed was important, later he realized he had kept his cell on loudspeaker!!!

On an afterthought, it was good that he was least bothered about our vivas, at least he spared us from his usual 'screwing'!!!

P.S.: sorry for late posting, but as you know now had my oral examzzz.. ;-)
